CLIENT EXPERIENCE

"If looking for guidance, would you seek to find someone who has never stepped out and onto the path? Marie is one who walks her truth. As I wandered through the terrain of a divorce and long distance move, I found solace in the home-fire of Marie's warmth, generosity of spirit, and laughter."

-- Susan Lewis, CMT
Sierra Center for Oncology Massage, Grass Valley, CA

"Interesting presentation with a personal component for everyone."

-- Ann Fisher, Port Townsend, WA

"Your topic of widowhood was so enlightening, including self-worth and learning to receive graciously as well as to give. I took home a new awareness of how important it is to find time just for myself. I will also start accepting thanks more appropriately."

-- Addie Curtis, Vice President, Sequim-Dungeness Hospital Guild, Sequim WA

"Thank you for a beautiful and uplifting speech. After our meeting, people told me how much they appreciated your words and how right on you were for our group."

-- Heidi Hansen, Coldwell Banker Real Estate, Sequim, WA

"There is a period of mind-numbing grief after losing a spouse, but no respite from life's demands. Marie's experience in business makes her uncommonly qualified to navigate the financial practicalities of life. Her training and personal experience as a young widow make her compassionate and empathetic counselor. I know because she helped me greatly after my husband died, and I will always be grateful."

Learn The Inner Art Of Transforming Stress

Forrest Gump said it well -- “Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re going to get.” Sometimes what you get stresses you out, especially in this day and time. A manageable level of stress can be a good thing which helps propel you forward. But when your stress level rises too high for too long, your heart may race constantly and your blood pressure may stay elevated. It's all too easy to let stress consume every aspect of your life. In some cases, stress can even debilitate you, causing paralysis or procrastination.

Present conditions make this a good time to learn how to deal with stress. Using skills taught in this talk, you can make stress a positive thing, rather than letting it rule your life. I'll cover how handling stress is an inner art because it involves paying close attention to your feelings and monitoring the intentions behind your actions. These are just two of the adaptive skills taught in this talk.

You'll learn not only to manage stress but also how to head it off. When it comes to unhealthy stress, prevention is definitely the best medicine. A handout and a recorded transcript will be available to all attendees.
